Israel offers to “ease” the blockade on Gaza
After three years of blockade on more than one million and seven hundred Palestinians who live in the Gaza strip,[singlepic id=247 w=280 h=200 float=right] Israel is considering an easement on the entrance to the strip but refuses to end the blockade. The Israeli decision to consider an easement on the entrances to Gaza was made after the worldwide criticism that was made about the Israeli policy regarding the Gaza strip and the late freedom flotilla incident that Israel killed in it nine peace activists while preventing it from reaching Gaza.
Iran agrees on a nuclear fuel swap deal with Turkey
Following the Iranian agreement on the nuclear fuel swap deal, Iranian President Ahmadi Najad asked from the world powers to consider the Iranian [singlepic id=191 w=260 h=180 float=right] agreement a good Iranian intention that should lead to new talks with Iran.
The deal states that Iran agrees to swap 1200 kg of its low enriched uranium for higher enriched nuclear fuel that will be used in the Iranian medical research reactor. Turkey will host the exchange and will supervise on the whole process. The efforts of both Brazil and Turkey resulted in the Iranian agreement which is still not clear.
Palestinians mark the Sixty-Two Nakbah anniversary with more Israeli attacks on the West Bank and Gaza
While the Palestinians live the sixty-two Nakbah anniversary, the Israeli settlers continue to attack Palestinians in the West Bank. Palestinian teenager Aysar [singlepic id=190 w=320 h=240 float=right] Al – Zaban was shot by an Israeli settler while he was tending his family’s land at Mazra’a Al Sharqia village near Ramalla. The fifteen years old boy was killed although he was not even involved in the stones throwing in the area. In Gaza, a sixty-five years old man was shot by the Israeli army who claimed that he was trying to walk towards the security siege which the Israelis have put around the Gaza strip.
Israel returns to Assassinations Policy
Six Palestinians were killed in two separate incidents by the Israeli forces in Gaza and the West Bank. Three of the Palestinians were assassinated in[singlepic id=122 w=320 h=240 float=right] Nablus at the West Bank. According to Israeli sources, Ghasan Abu Sharkh, Raed Sarkaji and Anan Suboh took part in the last attack which resulted in killing an Israeli settler in the West Bank.

Palestinians and foreign activists have torn down segments of Israel’s separation wall in a demonstration marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.[singlepic id=75 w=320 h=240 float=right]
In the town of Qalandiya in the occupied West Bank, a group of masked activists using a lorry pulled down a two-metre cement block before Israeli security forces confronted them with tear gas grenades.
The Unfinished Change in the Palestinian Community
It is hard to determine whether the Palestinian community and political parties are ready to change from a national authority to a Palestinian state. The basis of the Palestinian community started on the belief of liberating the occupied land from the enemy. This started when the Palestinian Liberation Organization was established and joined all the “Brothers” that wanted to fight the enemy and free the land.
