The Middle East Changes and Israel’s Denial of it
Deterrence Power…a power that the Israeli leadership and army considered the main tool it can use to keep on being the strongest country in the Middle East.
Most of the Israeli army former wars were justified by claiming that unless Israel holds the strongest army and continues on achieving what it considered military victory it will never succeed in assuring the security of its people. Those who built this strategy many years ago did not consider a possible change in the regimes of the Arab world and the leadership of countries that in the past used to be allies of Israel.

The Israelis are still suffering from the results of their use of violence while dealing with the Freedom Flotilla and an Iranian ship is on its way to support Gaza.
Although the Palestinian team considered its visit to the White House a successful one, there are no signs that anything has been achieved. While observing Israel’s latest action in attacking the freedom flotilla, one can reach a conclusion that Israel’s policy in using force will lead the area to war [singlepic id=237 w=300 h=210 float=right]soon. The current Israel government has been working since several months to prepare for the next confrontation in the Middle East.
The Israeli army made several exercises and training to evaluate its capability in both launching a war and defending a possible attack in any moment. Not only this but the security forces have trained itself very well to know how to deal with the Israeli population while in war. The diplomatic effort to gain an international support for a possible Israeli attack is in its high levels.
Israel attacks the Freedom Flotilla: 16 killed and dozens injured
More than 16 people were killed and dozens were injured when Israeli troops attack the aid carrying ships from sea and air while on their way to break the [singlepic id=236 w=320 h=240 float=right] blockage on Gaza. The flotilla have hundreds of supporters and unarmed civilians who decided to join get on the ships and go to Gaza to try to break the siege which turned the life of the Palestinians there to become one of the worst in the world.

Iran agrees on a nuclear fuel swap deal with Turkey
Following the Iranian agreement on the nuclear fuel swap deal, Iranian President Ahmadi Najad asked from the world powers to consider the Iranian [singlepic id=191 w=260 h=180 float=right] agreement a good Iranian intention that should lead to new talks with Iran.
The deal states that Iran agrees to swap 1200 kg of its low enriched uranium for higher enriched nuclear fuel that will be used in the Iranian medical research reactor. Turkey will host the exchange and will supervise on the whole process. The efforts of both Brazil and Turkey resulted in the Iranian agreement which is still not clear.
