Al Rai Kuwaiti newspaper reported that Israel is preparing itself to attack Hezbullah targets inside Syria. According to the newspaper, Western sources stated that Israel is increasing its army forces on its northern border with Syria and Lebanon. Recently President Medvedev visited Syria and met President Bashar Alassad and Hamas leader Khaled Meshal. President Medvedev stated that joining Hamas in the peace process and ending the tragedy in Gaza are things which the international community must work on more. While U.S officials have criticized advertisements which were made in favor of Israel’s position on Jerusalem, the Syrian President Bashar Alassad is visiting Egypt to discuss many matters including the possibility of a war between Syria and Israel.
The supporting advertisements were made by the president of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder and Nobel peace prize Laureate Elie Wiesel. Israel accused Syria of giving Hezbullah new missiles which are considered a new threat on Israel’s security. Syria denied the accusations and considered it an Israeli attempt to move the eyes from its Nuclear weapons and to affect the American Syrian relations.
