Fatah and Hamas

There is no region of the World more talked about in the media than the Middle East and even more so of the countries of Israel and Palestine. It is true that [singlepic id=494 w=320 h=240 float=right]Palestine has not been recognized yet as a country, but this is political semantic, and this article is trying to pull away from that and only iterate the facts.
Most newspapers or TV channel concentrate solely on the demands of the parties involved; but never have I seen anyone put down on the table all the elements of the Conflict and in doing so, allowing the Public to better understand what is at stake.

New Year’s Resolutions (Part 2)

The problem with Part 2′s is that anyone who didn’t read Part 1 could be lost. No not a ‘never- asks -for- directions- just -keep- turning -right -and- look- for-[singlepic id=445 w=320 h=240 float=right] the -12 -story- black -or- was- it- 11- stories -and gray- building?’ kind of lost, but more like a “What’s missing?” confusion.
Ok. That was a long sentence. Let’s go back. What I’m trying to say is this: You’ll be able to follow Part 2 better than virtually any part of your last really good argument with a friend or (what we in the politically correct professions call) your significant other, and especially more than a New York Times’ story that

We’ve all been warned to expect postal delays after the recent parcel bomb scare, but I’m not sure we can blame DHL for the delay in the so-called US ‘letter of incentives’ getting to Israel.

The letter is meant to formalise the offer communicated last Thursday by US secretary of state Hillary Clinton to Binyamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister.

Where Religion Meets Politics…

April 2009

There is no doubt that religion and politics make for a potent mix and the recent UN resolution, condemning the ‘defamation of religion’ has created quite a stir in the international community. In the following article Gitanjali Bakshi analyzes the possible implications of this resolution and what it could mean for the on-going debate on religion and politics.

Olmert’s decision to go home…is it fair?

After a short challenge between the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and the Israeli community, again Israel proved that democracy is a game that can be played the way needed. Prime Minister Olmert stated that he will resign from his rank on September after the elections of the political party Kadema. The reason is the investigations held with him concerning the accusations of receiving money secretly from American Jews when Olmert used to be the Mayor of Jerusalem.

The Taste of Freedom…

Freedom is the source of life for us and once you lose your freedom you will be suffering until you lose everything good in your life. Some does not know what the taste of freedom is because they were never taught about it or lived it. Imagine this special moment that someone lives after a hard period of time that prevented him from his freedom…the air smells like something else, the sun looks like the queen of the world, and the blue skies looks really like heavens.

The Last Events in the Israeli – Palestinian area

Recently after the last Palestinian attack in West Jerusalem on a religious school that resulted in killing eight students and injuring others, the situation between the Palestinians and the Israelis who live in this area is becoming more dangerous and serious. Yesterday the Rabbi Obadiah Yusef said that any Jew who employs a Palestinian will be boycotted and even listed in a black list that forbids making list with the names listed in it.

The New Realism Idea and the Truth of the Two Pole Strategy

The basic idea of the New Realism theory talks about the world situation regarding relations between countries and the fact that always there is more than one great power or state in the world. This means that there is nothing called a one pole world that is controlled by one great power.
