Many politicians find it easy to say that the Palestinian refugees case can be easily solved; compensation or a partial return to the West Bank would be enough. Recently President Medvedev visited Syria and met President Bashar Alassad and Hamas leader Khaled Meshal. President Medvedev stated that joining Hamas in the peace process and ending the tragedy in Gaza are things which the international community must work on more. Palestinian Christians make up between forty thousand and ninety thousand people of the population in the Palestinian territories. The Palestinian Christians  who live in the Palestinian territories consider themselves Palestinians, vote in the Parliament and Presidency elections and have candidates. Not only that they take part in the political movement but they also sacrificed and give for the Palestinian case like any other Palestinian.

Although they are a minority they believe in the Palestinian right to live independently and work for achieving the Palestinian dream of an independent state in many ways. While U.S officials have criticized advertisements which were made in favor of Israel’s position on Jerusalem, the Syrian President Bashar Alassad is visiting Egypt to discuss many matters including the possibility of a war between Syria and Israel.
The supporting advertisements were made by the president of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder and Nobel peace prize Laureate Elie Wiesel. The American officials agreed that such advertisements are not a wise move. Once a great power decides to invade another country it makes sure to find someone who will be able to lead the country occupied later. Not only new occupied countries but also newly formed states could face such external effect in deciding who will become the leader.
In its war in Iraq and Afghanistan the United States did not succeed in preparing the countries for the after war period. The grandson of the Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi has visited the Palestinian territories to participate in organized tours made to the Palestinian villages and to see the Israeli occupation in his own eyes.

In a problematic society many try to escape from the reality they live in so they can build patterns that would get them what they want. Usually the change  achieved is made by individuals and the lack of cooperation and shared efforts between the people results in a limited change which cannot be seen in all the parts of the society.

While Prime Minister Netanyahu is visiting the White House to meet President Obama, the Israeli government continues to give permits for new settlements in East Jerusalem.
The latest permit was given for a plan to build twenty new settlements in the area of Sheikh Jarah. The Palestinian authority condemned the new Israeli decision and considered it a new challenge, which the American administration will have to face. Read more…

It is now up to Abbas to act on the recommendation and decide whether to delay the polls [AFP]
The Palestinian Election Commission has recommended the postponement of presidential and parliamentary polls scheduled for January.
Hanna Nassar, the director of the electoral body, said on Thursday that the recommendation had been communicated to Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority.

Salah is one of thousands of Palestinians who was imprisoned and sentenced for seven years in prison without any real proof. Salah is twenty years old Franco Palestinian who was raised in Jerusalem. Since the beginning of his life he was affected by the Israeli occupation and was always ambitious to bring liberty for his country and people.

He graduated from College Des Frères in Jerusalem and wanted to continue his education in Bethlehem University but he was imprisoned before finishing his education.
