The situation in the Middle East keeps on developing towards the worst. Iraq is still in war although many try to convince the world that
democracy has been achieved. Afghanistan is under attack and nothing until this moment has been achieved in order to say that the situation is becoming better. The Israeli Palestinian conflict is similar to the situation which we call silence before the storm. Iran’s crisis with the west is becoming more complicated every day and the later threatens to start serious economical sanctions if Iran does not forget about its nuclear projects. Read more…

In the last couple of days Jerusalem witnessed several events and clashes between the Israeli police and Palestinian and Peace activists. More than thirty five Palestinians and Peace activists were arrested because they participated in several activities made against the Israeli settlements and the Arab cultural activities in the city.

It was as if some official, perhaps one of President Obama’s “czars,” like the Czar for Demolishing American Credibility, had orchestrated a systematic campaign to isolate the US from the rest of the world, make it a political laughing-stock and, finally, render it a second-rate power
capable of throwing around tremendous military weight but absolutely incapable of leading us to a better future. The Israel-Palestine conflict, while not the world’s bloodiest, constitutes, for many people of the world, a unique gauge of American interests and intentions. So consider the messages this string of actions sent out to the world: Read more…

Recently the Israeli abuse in Jerusalem against the Palestinians is becoming harsher. Since Oslo’s agreement the Israeli leadership decided to do everything possible to make any kind of compromise regarding Jerusalem impossible.
The plan is to try to change Jerusalem into a complete Jewish city that holds no other religious or cultural sign even though it used to be in it since hundreds of years. Although Israel knows that any attempt to make a change in the old city and specifically in the Aqsa mosque would be like playing with fire because of its holiness and importance in the Islamic circles, it keeps on.
