The Palestinian struggle at a crossroads
The Israel-Hamas prisoner exchange last week was a very emotional moment for thousands of Palestinians who were reunited with family members they had not seen for years. But it came at a price. Some of the public perceive the prisoner release deal as an achievement for Hamas’ militant approach, a success story that Palestinian diplomatic efforts and negotiations with Israel have not yet been able to deliver.

في الايام الاخيرة تناقلت العديد من وسائل الاعلام امكانية تجدد محادثات السلام بين الفلسطينيين والاسرائيليين بعد جمود في العملية السلمية منذ ديسمبر ٢٠٠٨ بسبب [singlepic id=143 w=320 h=240 float=right]التعنت الاسرائيلي واستمرار الحكومة الاسرائيلية اليمينية بالبناء الاستيطاني وخاصة في القدس الشرقية بالاضافة الى تبني تلك الحكومة الى مشاريع تخدم اليمين المتطرف والمستوطنين وكان اخرها ضم الحرم الابراهيمي الى قائمة التراث اليهودي الامر الذي سيؤدي الى تحويل الصراع الاسرائيلي الفلسطيني الى صراع ديني وبذلك يصبح من الصعب
