The Lebanese Shia Islamist movement, Hezbollah, now has rockets capable of reaching Israel’s largest cities, the head of the Israeli military has said.
Major General Gabi Ashkenazi told lawmakers Hezbollah’s military wing had tens of thousands of rockets, some with a range of more than 300km (186 miles).

This would potentially put the cities of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem within reach. Read more…

Yesterday the Hezballah five prisoners were released in exchange for the bodies of two Israeli soldiers that were kidnapped almost two years ago before the last Israeli Lebanese war. Lebanon is living in war again but this time it is witnessing a war between its sons and daughters. The streets are closed again, the fire is in so many places, the victims are dying, and the situation is becoming worse.

After a long round of negotiations that brought nothing between the several Lebanese parties and groups, the situation exploded and turned into a street fight between the Lebanese that are fighting to prove who can be stronger and make decisions. Read more…
