Destination of the Middle East…Unknown

There are four important factors that must be considered while trying to understand the next stage in the situation of the Middle East Post:

3. The Iranian – Western confrontation.
4. The trigger that is needed to start a new kind of confrontation.

Kataeb Students Rally in Beirut

Hundreds of students from the Lebanese Kataeb Party led a march through downtown Beirut last week to protest their growing frustration with the current March 8th government.

Most of the Israeli army former wars were justified by claiming that unless Israel holds the strongest army and continues on achieving what it considered military victory it will never succeed in assuring the security of its people. Those who built this strategy many years ago did not consider a possible change in the regimes of the Arab world and the leadership of countries that in the past used to be allies of Israel.

Hundreds Rally in Unified with the Syrian People in Downtown Beirut

BEIRUT, LEBANON- Hundreds of local students, intellectuals and activists rallied in Beirut as international pressure grows against the Syrian regime.While the exact number of protestors cannot be confirmed, at least 500 people met in Martyrs Square Monday night to protest against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The protest was peaceful as activists chanted, “The Syrian youth want freedom” and held signs that said “No to Silence in Lebanon” and “The Syrian Regime Murders in Syria and Lebanon.”

The Israeli Peace Initiative is signed by several Israeli known personalities including Yaakob Perry, Amnon Lipkin, Ami Ayalon, Amram Mitzna, Mosheh Maor and Ephraim Lavie.The Israeli initiators are a group of former directors of Israeli security agencies, businessmen, academics and leaders. The Initiative is not formal and was not supported by the Israeli government.

The Arabs decision to start a new move to try to condemn Israel was made for many reasons that the condemning of Israel would not be a result of it because of the expected American Vito.

Eventhough the American Vito is expected, the Arab leaderships is trying to make any kind of movement that would show the American position towards Israel and make a development in the situation by bringing the International community into the ongoing argument between all the sides of the conflict.

Al Rai Kuwaiti newspaper reported that Israel is preparing itself to attack Hezbullah targets inside Syria. According to the newspaper, [singlepic id=352 w=280 h=200 float=left] Western sources stated that Israel is increasing its army forces on its northern border with Syria and Lebanon. The Israeli air force has made several flights over Syria and Lebanon to examine Hezbullah targets to prepare to attack them.
