A New Arab Draft Resolution to Condemn the Israeli Settlements

Yesterday, the Arab states handed to the International Security council a draft resolution that condemns the Israeli settlements building in the West Bank [singlepic id=463 w=320 h=240 float=right]and calls to stop it immediately. The Arabs decision to start a new move to try to condemn Israel was made for many reasons that the condemning of Israel would not be a result of it because of the expected American Vito.

Eventhough the American Vito is expected, the Arab leaderships is trying to make any kind of movement that would show the American position towards Israel and make a development in the situation by bringing the International community into the ongoing argument between all the sides of the conflict.

Pro Israel Organizations: A Different View

So many Jewish organizations. So many pro-Israel organizations. So many readership risks to writing anything remotely negative about any of them.[singlepic id=462 w=320 h=240 float=right]
So I won’t. If you take anything below this sentence as unfairly negative, then you’re just too negative in imagining my supposed negativity.
I’m actually brave. Or so I was told by two people — although one was my wife and she needed a ride home — when I set up a meeting of 25 people to discuss different views on supporting Israel. So writing an article that very lightly touches on different aspects of various pro-Israel organizations shouldn’t be so tough.

Racism and Radicalism In Israel

Since the September 11th attacks on the United States of America, the world witnessed a wide campaign against Islam and Arabs in which they are accused of [singlepic id=452 w=320 h=240 float=right]terrorism and radicalism. Ariel Sharon’s Israeli leadership succeeded in turning the Palestinians from demanders of freedom into terrorists and convinced the world that the Palestinians are only thirsty for blood, killing and are anti-Semites.
Today the whole situation changed and the world is more convinced of the importance of ending the Palestinian suffering by giving them their rights but is this happening in the Israeli community too?

Lately the expressions of racism against Arabs, Palestinians and Africans are increasing within Israel while the Israeli people is watching and sometimes

Who wants a Palestinian state more…Israelis? or Palestinians?

The main point which Israelis and Palestinians have been negotiating since the Oslo agreement is whether the Palestinians should be given a state of their [singlepic id=449 w=320 h=240 float=right]own or not. In the beginning the Israelis refused the idea of sharing the land with Palestinians but later many of the Israeli leaders talked about the importance of separating Israel from the Palestinians by giving them a state on the 1967 occupied lands.

The Palestinian leadership agreed on the idea of two states solution to end the historical conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Despite the fact that Israel refuses to go forward with this solution, it will cost the Palestinians a high price in which the refugees would not go back to their homes, the Israeli state

New Year’s Resolutions (Part 2)

The problem with Part 2′s is that anyone who didn’t read Part 1 could be lost. No not a ‘never- asks -for- directions- just -keep- turning -right -and- look- for-[singlepic id=445 w=320 h=240 float=right] the -12 -story- black -or- was- it- 11- stories -and gray- building?’ kind of lost, but more like a “What’s missing?” confusion.
Ok. That was a long sentence. Let’s go back. What I’m trying to say is this: You’ll be able to follow Part 2 better than virtually any part of your last really good argument with a friend or (what we in the politically correct professions call) your significant other, and especially more than a New York Times’ story that

New Year’s Resolutions (Part 1)

by Jeff Pozmantier on December 27, 2010 · [singlepic id=444 w=320 h=240 float=right]
It’s resolution time. Time to stop doing something we enjoy and start doing something that we don’t. Time for salad bars and health clubs to reach overcapacity. All in the interest of self improvement. No pain, no gain. Of course, in a month or so everything will slowly get back to normal.
Or in the case of the Middle East, where everyone’s actions eventually return to their permanent state of abnormal, we frequently don’t even have to wait a few days for a new resolution to become a distant memory. Since self-reflection doesn’t appear to be particularly high on many Middle East-related resolution

Israeli Minister Yuval Shtaints stated tat sooner or later Israel will have to attack Hamas and end its sovereignty in Gaza.
