Palestinian Christians make up between forty thousand and ninety thousand people of the population in the Palestinian territories. The Palestinian Christians  who live in the Palestinian territories consider themselves Palestinians, vote in the Parliament and Presidency elections and have candidates. Not only that they take part in the political movement but they also sacrificed and give for the Palestinian case like any other Palestinian.

Although they are a minority they believe in the Palestinian right to live independently and work for achieving the Palestinian dream of an independent state in many ways. The existence of the Palestinian Christians and their stand with their Muslim brothers through history make them a great example of how an Arab society can work together. Read more…

Once a great power decides to invade another country it makes sure to find someone who will be able to lead the country occupied later. Not only new occupied countries but also newly formed states could face such external effect in deciding who will become the leader.
In its war in Iraq and Afghanistan the United States did not succeed in preparing the countries for the after war period. The situation in the Middle East keeps on developing towards the worst. Iraq is still in war although many try to convince the world that democracy has been achieved. Afghanistan is under attack and nothing until this moment has been achieved in order to say that the situation is becoming better. Six Palestinians were killed in two separate incidents by the Israeli forces in Gaza and the West Bank. Three of the Palestinians were assassinated in Nablus at the West Bank. According to Israeli sources, Ghasan Abu Sharkh, Raed Sarkaji and Anan Suboh took part in the last attack which resulted in killing an Israeli settler in the West Bank. Read more…

Secretary Hillary Clinton made several statements in the last couple of days while visiting Israel and Egypt. Clinton started its tour by saying that it is impossible to accept the idea of putting any kind of Palestinian conditions before negotiating with Israel. Clinton also stated that Israel do not have any law background to use in order to freeze the ongoing settlement building since it already issued permissions for them.

On last Wednesday, Congressman Robert Wexler, who is a supporter of Israel and a close political ally of President Obama, stated that he believes that Israel will say yes to settlement freeze. Since the establishment of Israel, a conflict started between the latter and the Palestinians. Israel decided to admit according to the International Law that the 1967 occupied lands are considered occupied by the Israelis too.
