Clashes at East Jerusalem – Milad Said Ayyash, 17 killed by an Israeli settler
While the Arab world is going out to the streets to demonstrate in the memory of “Al-Nakbah” the Palestinians received this year memory with the death of a[singlepic id=538 w=320 h=240 float=right] young Palestinian in Jerusalem. The clashes started yesterday and are spreading today through the whole of East Jerusalem.
Melad Said Ayyash, 17 years old young Palestinian was shot by an Israeli settler from the settlement called “Bet Yonatan” at Silwan yesterday. High Tension in East Jerusalem
The situation in East Jerusalem is not stable. More than two thousand Israeli policemen were brought into the city in order to [singlepic id=147 w=320 h=240 float=right]protect the Israeli ceremonies of opening a new temple in the old city. Israeli rightist movements invited Israelis to come and support their demand in putting a cornerstone of the temple inside the Aqsa mosque area.
Muslims are not allowed to enter the old city and the Aqsa mosque while clashes erupt continuously in the city and the towns
The Way to a New Intifada
Recently East Jerusalem and most of the West Bank territories witnessed violent clashes between the Israeli police and Palestinian protestors. The clashes [singlepic id=142 w=320 h=240 float=right]started after an Israeli declaration of considering the Ibrahemi Mosque in Hebron and Belal’s mosque in Bethlehem part of the Jewish religious heritage that will be developed and protected by the Israeli government.
Israel continues to prevent Palestinian activities and Judaize Jerusalem
In the last couple of days Jerusalem witnessed several events and clashes between the Israeli police and Palestinian and Peace activists. More than thirty five Palestinians and Peace activists were arrested because they participated in several activities made against the Israeli settlements and the Arab cultural activities in the city.[singlepic id=113 w=320 h=240 float=right]
The Israeli police claimed that none of these activities were authorized and therefore all of those who participate in it were acting against the law. The activities which were made included dancing, peaceful demonstrations, and demands to give the Palestinian residents of the city a chance to live normally without being depressed and prevented from expressing their opinion.
