Destination of the Middle East…Unknown
It is clear now that sooner or later the area will face a confrontation that is new of its kind. Today and after the arrival of the Arab spring that is bringing a change that will last for a long time and affect on many actors in the region, anything is possible.
There are four important factors that must be considered while trying to understand the next stage in the situation of the Middle East Post:
1. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
2. The ongoing change in the Arab regimes.
3. The Iranian – Western confrontation.
4. The trigger that is needed to start a new kind of confrontation.
Israel and Syria…to War?
In the last twenty four hours Israel and Syria were sending messages to each other explaining what kind of war they are expecting and which[singlepic id=132 w=320 h=240 float=right] reactions would happen before, through, and after a possible war between the two states.
The incident started with a statement which Ehud Barack made about the possibility of going to war with Syria if the last does not sign a peace agreement with Israel.
Israel and Syria…Making Peace or Having a Break?
The future always hides surprises for us especially when we are talking about politics in the Middle East. Recently Syria and Israel had a nice story going on between them that may not be as nice as it looks.
Israel as it always used to be is being smart in its way of treating things concerning the Syrian problem. The smartest State or leadership is the one that tries everything before going to war.
