Abbas and Meshal to meet on Wednesday in Cairo
In a development that aims to end the division between Hamas and Fatah, President Mahmoud Abbas and Chief of Hamas political Bureau agreed to meet on Wednesday in Cairo. Two important points that are expected to be declared on this day will be related to the coming Palestinian elections and the formation of a temporary Palestinian government.

President Mahmoud Abbas made a speech yesterday confirming that the Palestinian leadership will ask for a full membership state of Palestine next Friday at the United Nations.
The speech came to put an end for the questions and doubts whether the Palestinians will really ask for a full membership or will only ask for an upgrade of their status at the UN. It seems that the disagreement between the U.S administration and the Palestinian Authority is clear now. The peace process seems to be reaching its last moments between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
