Os dias estão contando e a conferência de paz de novembro está ficando mais fechada. Durante estes dias os palestinos e os israelitas ainda estão negociando para combinar algo antes de ir a Annapolis, portanto eles podem declarar a realização eles querem conseguir. O verdadeiro perigo consiste no que os extremistas estão fazendo de ambos os lados para fazer as pessoas sentir que não há nenhuma possibilidade desta conferência e que o seu único outra reunião como todas as reuniões ordinárias que a chanfradura não traz nenhum benefício nem aos palestinos nem aos israelitas. Isto é exatamente o que Hamas está tentando fazer assim eles podem afetar na opinião pública e deixar Abu Mazen sem suporte quando ele vai à conferência. Embora a situação realmente não esteja mostrando que algo sério será declarado depois desta conferência mas em todo o caso será a melhor partida de verdadeiras negociações contínuas lado a lado com um plano cheio que inclui a melhoria da vida diária dos cidadãos palestinos e também assegurar e influir na segurança tanto do Israel como dos territórios palestinos. No Israel, os meios de comunicação geralmente estão jogando a pior demonstração que afetaria negativamente no apoio público que é necessário para deixar qualquer conferência de paz passar. Na rádio ou até nos canais de televisão, cada um sempre pode ouvir as mesmas palavras que dizem que esta conferência não é séria e não deve ser tomada séria. Alguns dizem que o estado está atrás destes canais de meios de comunicação e está fazendo isto de propósito, mas aqui vem a pergunta; porque eles estão fazendo isto e qual é o benefício? O único benefício de que o governo pode aproveitar-se está guardando a calma de situação e prevenindo aqueles extremistas que desacordariam e até trabalhariam para destruir qualquer tentativa antes que eles comecem para qualquer solução de paz. E isto é exatamente o que é necessário para fazer negociações secretamente sem efeitos do exterior. Bem o que realmente admirei na semana passada foi uma carta preparada por estudantes israelenses de Jerusalém e também outros que estudam em Jerusalém. Esta carta será enviada a Olmert e pedirá que ele assine um verdadeiro acordo e encontre uma verdadeira solução que inclui Jerusalém para trazer a paz a Jerusalém. Até agora quase 400 pessoas alistaram-no e o número está aumentando cada dia. Estes estudantes chamam o seu mesmo “Uma solução em Jerusalém – Por causa de Jerusalém ….Students por causa de um acordo de paz” “‘שרה ירושלים – שביל רושלים‘”. In Israel, the media generally is playing the worst show that would affect negatively on the public support that is needed to let any peace conference pass. Either in the radio or even in the television channels, one can always hear the same words saying that this conference is not serious and should not be taken serious. Some say that the state stands behind these media channels and is doing this on purpose, but here comes the question; why are they doing this and what is the benefit? The only benefit that the government can take advantage of is keeping the situation calm and preventing those extremists who would disagree and even work to destroy any attempts before they begin for any peace solution. And this is exactly what is needed to make negotiations secretly with no effects from the outside.Well what I really admired in the last week was a letter prepared by Israeli students from Jerusalem and also others who study in Jerusalem.
