After his meeting with Israel Defense minister Ehud Barak, Gates seemed to agree that Syria is providing Hezbullah with missiles and scuds. Gates commented saying: “Syria and Iran are providing Hezbullah with rockets and missiles of ever-increasing capabilities,” and that “Hezbullah has far more rockets and missiles than most governments in the world.”

The tensions between Israel and Syria are increasing after the former threatened to respond by attacking both Syria and Lebanon if Israeli territories would be attacked with scuds. Read more…

Happiness is something which most of us want to feel. Some know how to feel it, others convince themselves that they are living it and others cannot find any way to reach it.
The real problem is in finding the real meaning of happiness. Happiness and other emotions we feel are all gained and understood through those who teach us and stand around us. Time and place affect on the way we understand these emotions. In our days the meaning of happiness have changed and the ways we are given to choose from does not really help in reaching real happiness. Read more…

While U.S special envoy Mitchell is meeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a group of seventy Israeli settlers are demonstrating in the Arab village Silwan in East Jerusalem.
The seventy settlers were given permission by the Israeli police to demonstrate in the Arab neighborhood with Israeli flags. The Palestinians considered this action an assault on the Palestinian presence in the city of Jerusalem and the result is a beginning of clashes which are taking place now and would expand to other parts of the city. While U.S officials have criticized advertisements which were made in favor of Israel’s position on Jerusalem, the Syrian President Bashar Alassad is visiting Egypt to discuss many matters including the possibility of a war between Syria and Israel.
The supporting advertisements were made by the president of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder and Nobel peace prize Laureate Elie Wiesel. The American officials agreed that such advertisements are not a wise move. Prime Minister Netanyahu insisted on stating that the demand to freeze settlements building in East Jerusalem cannot be answered and that Jerusalem is the united capital of Israel. Read more…

The Israeli people began to celebrate their sixty two Independence Day stating that East Jerusalem is a part of the united capital of Israel and that Israel must  only depend on itself in facing the dangers which it faces. The Iranian attempts to obtain nuclear powers became the main issue which the world is trying to deal with recently. Israel and the United States are the two leading countries in convincing the world that Iran should not obtain any kind of nuclear powers without conditions and supervision.

Since the negotiations began Iran continues to insist that it is completely legal and even a right for any country to work for creating nuclear projects for peaceful use. منذ ان انتخب بنيامين نتنياهو رئيسا للوزراء اعلن ان القدس لن تكون ابدا موضوع للتفاوض بوصفه لها بعاصمة اسرائيل الابدية اضافة الى اعتبار البناء الاستيطاني في القدس كاي عملية بناء في اسرائيل وان القدس كتل ابيب كما وصفها نتنياهو ، اذن ما هي فائدة المفاوضات اكانت مباشرة او غير مباشرة مع حكومة يمينية متطرفة تضع شروط التفاوض قبل بدئها ؟ .
على الرغم من الدعوات الامريكية بوقف الاستيطان في القدس الا ان اسرائيل متعنتة في موقفها بعدم طرح هذا الموضوع للنقاش والتفاوض ، ان هذه التصريحات الاسرائيلية لا تختلف عن تصريحات Read more…

Israel accused Syria of giving Hezbullah new missiles which are considered a new threat on Israel’s security. Syria denied the accusations and considered it an Israeli attempt to move the eyes from its Nuclear weapons and to affect the American Syrian relations.
Robert Gibbs stated that the white house is worried about the developed weapons which Israel claims that Syria has given to Hezbullah. The American foreign ministry also stated that if the information about the missiles were right then it would affect the Lebanese security. Read more…
