Lessons in Leadership – XXVII – How we shape our Destiny
In a problematic society many try to escape from the reality they live in so they can build patterns that would get them what they want. Usually the change [singlepic id=156 w=320 h=240 float=right] achieved is made by individuals and the lack of cooperation and shared efforts between the people results in a limited change which cannot be seen in all the parts of the society.
One example is the Palestinian society; in contrast with other communities in the Arab world, the Palestinian situation is much better but unfortunately it is going backward instead of developing towards the better.
Lessons in Leadership XXVI – Success, Results and Pattern
In life we learn how to deal with the challenges we face with patters, which we build for ourselves. In order to succeed in changing the situation of anything, which we may consider important, we need to be ready. Will, determination and an acknowledgement of the importance of change are things that are important in order to change the results which we continue to get.

هذا الاستقبال الذي اعدته الحكومة الاسرائيلية لبايدن اغضب الرئيس الامريكي باراك اوباما والبعوث الامريكي للشرق الاوسط جورج ميتشل الذي بدوره سلم نتنياهو رسالة من الرئيس الامريكي تدعوه لزيارة واشنطن ، الامر الذي لربما اسعد نتنياهو في الوهلة الاولى لانه لم يكن متنبئا بالذي سيحصل في البيت الابيض.
The Palestinian Case – A Continuous Tragedy
While Prime Minister Netanyahu is visiting the White House to meet President Obama, the Israeli government continues to give permits for new settlements [singlepic id=152 w=320 h=240 float=right] in East Jerusalem.
The latest permit was given for a plan to build twenty new settlements in the area of Sheikh Jarah. The Palestinian authority condemned the new Israeli decision and considered it a new challenge, which the American administration will have to face.
Arab Students Demonstrate at the Hebrew University
In the last couple of days the Hebrew University campus in Jerusalem witnessed several demonstrations made by the Arab [singlepic id=151 w=320 h=240 float=right] students movements. The Arab movements Aljabha, tajamo, Abnaa albalad, Watan, Ikra and Alreslaeh called the students to participate in a demonstration which was made last Tuesday to demonstrate against Israel’s policy in East Jerusalem.
Israel’s Policy and the idea of A One State solution
It seems that the Israeli leadership finds it hard to accept any kind of commitment to stop the settlements in East Jerusalem and [singlepic id=148 w=320 h=240 float=right] the occupied West Bank. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s government does not agree on any kind of settlements freeze in East Jerusalem. Instead Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that the current Israeli government will continue to build in East Jerusalem exactly as the former Israeli leaders who have been building in the city since forty two years.
