Be Loyal to Yourself, Before Being Loyal to Your Cued Ideas
Recently, and since I started writing my political posts about the Israeli Palestinian conflict and other subjects, I felt that I was read by people in different ways; some considered me extreme, others considered me a moderate. To be honest, I was sometimes affected by the readers’ comments and opinions about my analysis and discussions of the political situation in the Middle East.
A Middle Eastern Smartness Game which will turn into a Tragedy
Many people wonder what will be the future of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with the new Israeli leadership, and the Palestinian internal situation. The question is about the kind of the next stage in the conflict and whether there will be a new violence circle or peace. Bibi Netanyahu will work on bringing peace for Israel in his own ways; launching more attacks on Gaza, weakening the West Bank, and playing the usual Israeli game of denying the existence of a real Palestinian partner for peace.
The Situation in the Middle East…Where to?
Hamas and Israel are supposed to start a new Cease-Fire in forty eight hours. Although the negotiations between the two sides took a lot of time through Egypt, it seems that a new Cease-Fire is about to start. Many sources said that the period of the Cease-Fire will be between one year and year and a half.
The Brothers War
Recently, many efforts were made by the Arab countries in order to reach reconciliation between both Fatah and Hamas. Since the Hamas coup in Gaza, the Palestinian authority in Ramallah considers Hamas Government in Gaza illegal. Hamas currently considers the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas illegal because according to the Palestinian premier law his presidential period ended.

فباركيني إن لامَسْتُ ارضك
او اعطني حفنة َمجدٍ
كتلك التي
يُمجّدُ الطفلُ فيها ارضه وارض من ظلم
سواء بموته او بصدفةٍ فيها قد ابتســـــــم
أنا الشـــــــــــتاء يا غــــــــــــزة
دهشتي فاقت دهشة رضيع لايفهم شيئا حوله
تخجل الجراح من شدة النزف في صدره
وهو صغير يضحك من شدة الالم
وترَ ابنا تحت شجرة صنوبر ٍمن القصف تحترق
يداعب اباه ويقول له : انصت، الا تسمـــــــع!!
الا تسمع!! عزف الطائرات… واباه يختـنـــــق
فتمر ساعة ينطفىء بها سحريــن وروحيـــــــن
ابٌ وابنٌ في الكفن
ما همهم امة ًمن خلفهم
ولا امة ًتستقبلهم
وما ابتسموا ابتسامة الشهداء
إلا لأنهم معا
يا غزة
الدمع يـُبكي ما بي من حــــــــــزن
وحزني لأني سرقت حلمك وما به
من نجــــــوم وقمــــــــــــــــــــــر
فانا الشــــتاء انا البكاء المنتظــــر
انا الشــــؤم الحتمي ووصية القدر
يا غزة، انا بك جرحٌ شفاؤه الامـــــلْ
يا منبع البطولات انا الشــــــــــــــتاء
انا السبب… منذ ولدتُ وانتِ في خطرْ
فأنا ذاهبٌ للمـــــــــــوت.. ولتعلم ِ..
ان الشتـــــــــاءَ لأجلك انتحــــــــــرْ
لا تقتلوا!!!
لا، لا العين بالعين

Developments in the Middle East and President Obama’s New Policy
The future of any kind of achievement in the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians is not clear. Although the new American administration supports the two states solution, it seems not realistic to think of achieving it currently. Many of the American journals talked about the substantial choice which President Obama will have to choose to imply in his policy towards the Middle East.
