For as many years as anyone cares to look back, stubborn and belligerent behaviour by both Arab and Jew have only left destruction, dead bodies and hatred throughout the region. There is no point for either side to stand their ground and refuse to budge before there is movement from the other side…
Surely, the lesson has already been learned, that any time, is the right time to be constructive, creative, peacefull and have cooperative intentions towards your neighbour?
For any real, lasting progress to be achieved, what’s needed is for BOTH SIDES to GIVE to the other…

Well this is one of the problems which the Israeli people suffers from because of the Israeli media and the games that the Israeli government makes…Lebanese and Syrians notice the army movement on the border and even Israelis can see the army movement towards the north…Palestinians live under occupation and checkpoints and suffer daily but ofcourse an Israeli won’t feel this.
I wish if the reality was different and as you describe it.

when i read news i have a feeling like i live in different israel. in my everyday life i just dont feel that there is any threat of war. one of my best friends-she is arab but we never had any conflic coz of this.

Time will tell. But as before I feel the Israeli Govt is just playing for time and in the process waste everybody else’s time.
Whatever happens, I feel it will end in deadlock over the issue of Jerusalem. Another important factor, Abbas should not agree on the issue of de-militarisation of a Palestinian state unless Israel itself de-militarise. Another Gaza Massacre should never happened again.

If Israel is, as they say, the people of God, why don’t they follow Theyr TORAH ?
The Torah does not say that jews or zionists should do what they are doing.
They should replace the Torah for something else, more complecente and elastic.
Don’t you think so?
