Watan Movement which is a student movement that was established three yeas ago at the Hebrew University and then expanded its work to other Universities and decided to start an association that serves the Palestinian community inside the 1948 Arab cities, Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza has published its second Edition of Lamasat Watan magazine. The magazine discusses different matters which are considered important for the Palestinians through poetry, political articles, interviews with Palestinian leaders and other fields. Read more…

تقع قرية دهمش ضمن المجلس الإقليمي “عيمق لود” ويبلغ عدد سكانها 600 نسمة يسكنون ما يقرب أل 70 بيتا بُنيت على أراضيهم التابعة لهم والمسجلة باسمهم في الطابو .

في عام 1948 أُعلن عن المنطقة منطقة زراعية, لكن مع مرور السنوات تم قبول طلبات معظم سكان المنطقة بتحويل الأرض الزراعية إلى أراضي سكنية باستثناء طلبات سكان دهمش التي لم تُستجب وبقيت متداولة في أروقة المحكمة.

في دائرة تسجيل السكان وفي بطاقات الهويات الشخصية تم تسجيل جميع سكان دهمش ال 600 تحت عنوان واحد مشترك هو: شارع هحشمونئيم 6, الرملة. ومع ذلك فان بلدية الرملة ترفض الاعتراف بهم كسكان للمدينة. كذلك الأمر بالنسبة لبلدية اللد والمجلس الإقليمي عيمق لود. Read more…

هاجم سلاح الجو الاسرائيلي وسلاح البحر البارحة سفن اسطول الحرية التي كانت تتجه الى قطاع غزة لكي تكسر الحصار المفروض عليها منذ اربعة اعوام ، تلك السفن كانت تحمل مساعدات طبية وغيرها الى اهل القطاع ولم يكن على متنها اسلحة او اي شئ من هذا القبيل كما تدعي اسرائيل بان السفينة كانت محملة بالاسلحة ولعله من الفهوم ضمنا ان اي ناشط سلام حول العالم او من نشطاء السلام الذين كانوا عل متن السفينة الذين قدموا من اربعين دولة مختلفة صعدوا الى السفينة وعليها اي نوع من السلاح .

ان الهجمة على سفن اسطول الحرية اودت بحياة اكثر من ١٥ شهيدا دفعوا ثمن انسانيتهم وشعورهم بضرورة كسر الحصار عن شعب اعزل يفتقر لابسط مقومات الحياة ، بالاضافة الى ذلك اعتقلت اسرائيل كل من كان على متن السفينة سواء كانوا اجانب او عرب بحيث ان السفينة كانت تقل نائبان في البرلمان المصري وسياسيين لبنانيين واردنيين وغيرهم ولكن ماهو المتوقع دوليا وعربيا بعد هذه المجزرة ام انها Read more…

تعمل حركة وطن الطلابية في الجامعة العبرية في هذه الايام على الاعداد لاقامة يوم التراث الفلسطيني للمرة الثالثة على التوالي. يوم التراث الفلسطيني هو عبارة عن عرض لعدة فقرات تراثية و فنية فلسطينية بالاضافة الى تقديم المأكولات الفلسطينية  و عرض صور و تحف تعبر عن ماضي و حاضر التراث الفلسطيني. يقام يوم التراث الفلسطيني في داخل الجامعة العبرية لكي يعطي فرصة للطلاب العرب بأن يحضروا مناسبة تذكرهم بهويتهم الفلسطينية , كما ان بعض الفقرات التي تعرض يشارك بها طلاب عملوا على التحضير لها.

بدأت فكرة يوم التراث الفلسطيني منذ بداية نشأة حركة وطن الطلابية التي كانت في بداياتها تضم بعض الطلاب الذين كانوا يطمحون الى انشاء جسم يوحد الطلاب و يعمل على تقوية انتمائهم الى مجتمعهم و هويتهم الفلسطينية بعيدا عن الانتماء السياسي. ووجدت حركة وطن مع مرور السنين دعم و تعاون جيد بين الطلاب و اهالي مدينة القدس و رجال اعمالها حيث ان عملها توسع لتنشر اول مجلة ثقافية سياسية اجتماعية تضم اطياف مختلفة و تحمل رسالة و افكار عن اهمية العمل الوحدوي و ابراز مهارات الطلاب العرب و ابداعهم في كل من الشعر و الفكر و السياسة. Watan Student Movement has been established since three years and succeeded in improving the situation of the Arab students at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem by making several projects and activities which affected on the situation of the Palestinian student. While the Palestinians live the sixty-two Nakbah anniversary, the Israeli settlers continue to attack Palestinians in the West Bank. Palestinian teenager Aysar Al – Zaban was shot by an Israeli settler while he was tending his family’s land at Mazra’a Al Sharqia village near Ramalla. The fifteen years old boy was killed although he was not even involved in the stones throwing in the area. In Gaza, a sixty-five years old man was shot by the Israeli army who claimed that he was trying to walk towards the security siege which the Israelis have put around the Gaza strip. Read more…

Recently President Medvedev visited Syria and met President Bashar Alassad and Hamas leader Khaled Meshal. President Medvedev stated that joining Hamas in the peace process and ending the tragedy in Gaza are things which the international community must work on more. The Russians have been working recently to become closer to Iran, Syria and even Hezbollah.

הישראלים חוגגים בימים האלה את יום העצמאות ה62 להקמתה של מדינת ישראל, שנוסדה בשנת 1948, על אדמותיו של העם הפלסטיני שנכבשו במלחמה. יושב ראש הכנסת הצהיר שהחגיגות של העצמאות השנה יהיו בסימן הישגיה של מדינת ישראל, לרגל השנה ה150 להולדתו של בנימין זאב הרצל, מייסד התנועה הציונית. אבל על איזה הישגים הוא מדבר?
