Lebanon celebrates the liberation of its prisoners and Israel is mourning

Yesterday the Hezballah five prisoners were released in exchange for the bodies of two Israeli soldiers that were kidnapped almost two years ago before the last Israeli Lebanese war. The deal also included the returning of about two hundred bodies of Palestinians, Lebanese, and other Arabs that died in the Israeli Arab conflict.

Today the Israeli minister’s council agreed on releasing Samir Kuntar the Lebanese prisoner with another four of his companions and an unknown number of Palestinian prisoners in order to return its two Israeli kidnapped soldiers.
The Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said that Israel does not expect that the two soldiers are still alive.
