He wanted me to know that his money was all on Israel.
I should be smart enough to get in on the ground floor with all of the Christian Zionists, Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox Jews, and so many Israeli and Diaspora Jewish leaders who know that while market conditions have changed over the last 63 years, maintaining a consistent and predictable approach has been, and is, the best long-term strategy.

A Mental Paradigm Shift, a Revolution of Togetherness – By LAURA SHAZ

Togetherness

Living in Israel is like being part of a modern-day Montagues’ and Capulets’ feud, where the tragedy keeps replaying itself. We live in a big gang against another big gang, but nobody fully comprehends the politics. Yet, everybody has to take a side and perpetuate the tension, hostility and fear. The biggest victims of the Conflict are the Palestinian, Israeli and International mental hostages who cannot cure their own racism and enjoy spoiling a potential future of togetherness.

Next Friday…A Bid for Palestinian Full Membership State

2aa0apalestinianstate

President Mahmoud Abbas made a speech yesterday confirming that the Palestinian leadership will ask for a full membership state of Palestine next Friday at the United Nations.

The speech came to put an end for the questions and doubts whether the Palestinians will really ask for a full membership or will only ask for an upgrade of their status at the UN. Not only that a final decision was made about the kind of state that will be asked but a complete review of the last two years steps was presented.

Inability and Failure settles within the Israeli Leadership before Palestine’s bid for State

It seems that the Israeli leadership did not understand until this moment what is the reason behind the Palestinian bid for recognition of the Palestinian State in the Un.

Inability and Failure are two words that describe the situation of the rightist Israeli government these days. Prime Minister Netanyahu whose refusal to make any development in the peace process resulted in pushing the Palestinian Leadership to reconsider the whole negotiations strategy and decide to address the International community to be responsible and make an action regarding the occupation that the Palestinian is still living everyday.

An open letter to Palestinians

Dear neighbors,

I usually use this blog to write professional political analysis in which I use just my skills as conflict management professional and disregard my Israeli background. In this piece I will combine both.

I decided to write this message for a few reasons. First, because I can do so- I have been writing on Middleastpost blog to reach as many Arab readers as possible to expose them to a different Israeli point of view. I am privileged to do so since I meet the founders of Middleastpost and other Palestinian writers

The Declaration of the Palestinian State already succeeded

Even though some questioned its success, the Palestinian bid for state on the 23rd of September already succeeded. The world understands now that the Palestinians have a right to live in their own state and the Un resolutions regarding Palestine must be applied no matter what.

The Diplomatic efforts brought great success since more than 129 countries already recognized the Palestinian state and will vote for its declaration later this month. Many peoples know more about the Palestinian case and more are joining the campaign to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands.

The Middle East Changes and Israel’s Denial of it

Deterrence Power…a power that the Israeli leadership and army considered the main tool it can use to keep on being the strongest country in the Middle East.
Most of the Israeli army former wars were justified by claiming that unless Israel holds the strongest army and continues on achieving what it considered military victory it will never succeed in assuring the security of its people. Those who built this strategy many years ago did not consider a possible change in the regimes of the Arab world and the leadership of countries that in the past used to be allies of Israel.
