Well written and very informative. My only problem with situation like this is who administer justice in any case. Where does the buck stops? Who should be policing our world? What are the standard the world should follow? If USA can do it, what stops other nations from doing it? I feel with this banner of "war on terror" a few countries can hide behind this and use it to settle old scores and even go as far as denying rights to others. Which "terror" definition does one use? The IRA was seen as a terror organisation by some and "freedom fighters" by others. Does anyone who takes up arms as a mode of resistence necessarily a "terrorist"?
The bottom line is each nations has an obligation to uphold international law and human rights. So you cannot flagrantly ignore International Law while at the same use it to enforce your ideals on people.
Does all this make our world safer or radicalise more people?
