Israeli attacks today on Gaza resulted in killing more than two hundred and twenty five Palestinians and injured more than four hundred others. The Israeli leadership claimed that its attacks were made in order to weaken Hamas in Gaza. The international community supported the Israeli actions because of the Palestinian homemade missiles that injured a few in the last few months.                                                                 

The Arab governments as usual minded making any action against Israel and maintained silence. The Arab peoples went out into the streets to describe their anger and sorrow because of what is going on in Gaza. While writing this post I found no words to describe what is going on. The shock that I felt while I was watching the pictures of hundreds of killed Palestinians stole from me the words.

Which civilization the world is talking about when a million and a half Palestinians are under siege, which culture talks about killing two hundred people in one hour only to weaken a political Palestinian party that was elected by the majority of the Palestinians. The Israelis that claim that they suffered through history from genocide and holocaust are doing the same actions against Palestinians in Gaza. Can democracy be changed because it does not work with other systems?

The pictures of the crying children and even the killed policemen describe how far Israel is ready to go to prove that its army is the one that decides in the region and that Israel will always be the strong force in the area. Those who pay the price of these actions are Palestinians that now consider death an ordinary thing that will happen for all of them.

Does Israel think that what is going on in Gaza now will make Hamas Disappear? Is the Israeli leadership ignorant that it does not recognize that those who were killed today will bring after them thousands of Palestinians that will believe in the choice of resistance and force in facing the Israeli occupation. The massacre that was made today in Gaza will only bring more violence to the whole region and will open the door to many other Arab peoples to demonstrate against the choice of peace that didn’t exist in reality until today.

The Israeli attacks on Gaza today were made only to gain more voices for the Israeli leadership in the coming elections, and the result will be the worst for the Israeli people since the Palestinians will react and respond on the Israeli actions. The wisdom that the Israeli leadership lacks today will rewind the situation into a similar one that happened in the last Israeli Lebanese war, and Israel will only pay again an expensive price for the blood of the killed Palestinians.
