America - Iran Discussions…Becoming Closer or just a Preparing step before War?

Lately the Iranians and the Americans sat to negotiate about the Iranian Nuclear project with a European participation. When the Media was reporting about this surprising event the Political observers who are studying the crisis between Iran and the United States of America were shocked and did not know what to answer since they were all closer to say that war is on the doors than to talk about any chance of peace.

The Arab countries were the first to be embarrassed because of these negotiations because they were depending completely on the United States and even supported them in objecting the Iranian Nuclear Project. However the Iranians and their allies: Syria and Hezballah show a kind of a smart policy in using everything they have in order to achieve their plans. The Iranian agreement to sit and talk with the American administration without any conditions is not the first move this alliance take since Syria already agreed to start negotiations with Israel and Hezballah achieved the prisoners’ deal and tried to keep a calm situation on the borders with Israel.
The both sides are trying to use a kind of trick before their next step towards a war in the region. Iran’s most important interest is gaining time in order to go forward in their plans and this can be achieved by giving a picture to the world that they are ready to sit and discuss their ambitions. Since Syria and Hezballah are known allies of Iran then it will be natural if we see them using the same policy Iran is using.

This does not mean that the American administration is fool and does not acknowledge this fact, but on the other hand it is their interest to show in a way or another that they are really trying every diplomatic way with the Iranians and it does not bring back any kind of improvement. The United States does really need the International community support in any kind of attack on Iran and this can be achieved by convincing the world and specially Europe that Iran won’t give up its plans through diplomatic channels. So the question is if America is participating in these meetings only to gain more support for its future plans concerning Iran.
