Read it.. ONLY if you want to know what is the story of the Palestinians

So what’s the story between the Arabs and Israel? Why the Palestinians have been fighting since more than sixty years? And why do they say that the Israeli [singlepic id=242 w=320 h=240 float=right] Arab conflict is the key to peace or war in the Middle East? What is this story about?

Some Israelis say that the Palestinians have enough Arab countries that they can go and live in. Other Israelis say that Jordan is the land which the Palestinians should have their state one. Others say that the Palestinians are simply terrorists and their revolution is only another terrorist action that must be stopped. Some do not know anything about the Palestinians and others prefer to support Israel no matter what. The majority of the Israeli people prefer to close its eyes and pretend to know nothing about the existence and suffering of the Palestinians.

The international community is divided between a supporter of the Palestinian demands and others who support Israel for strategic interests. Some claim that the Palestinians are not serious and do not want to make peace because they refused plans which were suggested to them in the past. Others connect the Palestinian case to what they call Islam fanaticism. The International and political science expressions which were created after the 11/9 attacks became a good tool that is used to mix up between people who are asking for their freedom and terrorism….especially when talking about the Palestinians.

The problem is that no one is ready to look at the Palestinians as a people and humans who are suffering everyday. A few know about their past and the suffering they are going through since more than sixty years in order to give another people a place to live in. A few know that the tragedy that the Palestinians are living today is one of the last that came as a result of the Western colonialism in the Middle East. This result makes millions of Palestinians pay a price daily whether inside the Palestinian territories or the refugees who are still waiting around the world to find their home. The Palestinian people became a card that the international community plays with to achieve political victories. Israel who reminds the world of what Europe did for the Jews only several years ago, acts with the Palestinians as if they were slaves…slaves exactly as those who were under the control of Pharaoh.

Every day the Palestinians have to wake up, go through Israeli checkpoints and wish that they could find a work that would bring them food for their families. Every day the Palestinians wake up to remember those who they lost in the conflict…their fathers, brothers, sons and daughters. Every day the Palestinians stand infront of the News channels hoping to find out that finally the world understood that they must be given their rights back. Every day the Palestinians in Gaza have to wake up wishing that they wouldn’t have to pass through another day of injustice, humiliation, siege and poverty. Every day the Palestinian refugees wake up with a taste of bitterness hoping that the day when they die will come while they are on their homeland.

The Palestinian people are simply another people who lives in this world, suffers, occupied, imprisoned, forbidden to taste liberty, killed and ignored. This is the truth of the Palestinian people who is made of men, women and children….NOT of terrorists and barbarians. The Palestinian people is waiting until the world wakes up and understand what should be made to put an end for their misery..to put an end to the last occupation in the world. The only thing which makes the Palestinian people unique and different is its patience and hope that increase everyday..until finally it is liberated.
