Israel…A Country of Police and Force
Today tens of Arab students and a few Israelis went out to demonstrate in a peaceful allowed demonstration opposite to the main entrance of the Hebrew University. The reason of the demonstration was the memory of the Nakba that the Palestinians participate in to express their feelings about what happened to them before sixty years on Israeli hands.
Although this demonstration had permission from the University and the Israeli police, as always the policemen attacked the demonstrators because they were holding a Palestinian flag. The University security and the Police were holding video cameras and filming everyone that was standing at the demonstration in order to try to arrest them after the demonstration.
The Israeli state that considers itself as a democratic state acts with force and violence once one of its citizens that is not a Jew go out to express his opinion. The racism that this state is working upon shows the truth about the way people are treated according to their roots.
Israel considers itself as a modern country that works upon the United Nations decisions and International laws, but it does not employ any of them once it is related to one of the Palestinian rights.
Tseepi Livni today said that if Palestinians want to celebrate the establishment of their state, they should erase the word Nakba from their dictionary. On the other side, Abu Mazen the Palestinian President said that if Israel wants to have peace and security, occupation should be ended and the Palestinians should have their state with the capital Jerusalem.
