The Two States Solution,The One State Solution, and the No Solution. Right, Left, Extreme, and Moderate. These are the expressions which both Israelis and Palestinians are using currently to describe their internal situation and suggestions for ending the conflict. The Two States solution is considered by many Israelis and a good percentage of the Palestinian people as an impossible solution.
Those who believe that it is impossible to imply such a solution to end the conflict say that the current situation and the past experience prove that it is impossible to make two states for two peoples. However, they seem to hold other beliefs behind this theory; they simply want to rule the whole land of Palestine.
Right Israelis say that they have no problem to keep the Palestinians under an Israeli control on the whole land but without giving them the same rights as the Israeli Jews. In other words, they want to keep on occupying the land, deceiving the world that Israel could be a state for everyone living inside the Palestinian territories and Israel, and prevent the Palestinians from becoming real citizens in a real state that gives the same rights for everyone who lives in it.
The Left Israelis believe that the Two States solution is the right option to end the conflict but once Jerusalem, the 1967 occupied lands, and the settlements are discussed, they are not ready to move forward. Some Right Israelis say that they are ready to compensate for the sake of peace more than Left Israelis. Ehud Baraq said that Netanyahu, who is the next Israeli Prime Minister gave more than the left for the Palestinians. However, most of the wars which were made with Arabs in the past were started by Left Israelis such as Peres and Baraq.
From the other side, Right Israelis believe that moderate Palestinians are more dangerous than right Palestinians. According to them, Palestinian moderates act to be Peace seekers while in reality they are not really ready to compensate. Right Israelis would prefer to face right Palestinians since their actions will gain more support from the International community.
The game of who really wants peace, and right and left continues today, but the question is whether all these arguments will bring anything useful to invest in ending the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians. It is not important whether a right or left leader solves the equation; to solve the conflict should be a priority for him or her to gain real security and peace. From one side, Ideas such as sending the Palestinians to make their state in Jordan or to blame them for not reaching a solution will never bring Israel real security and Peace. From the other side, supporting illusions of erasing Israel from the map, which are only stated by certain powers to gain the support of Arabs will not invest establishing the Palestinian state and bringing their rights for them.
Recently, the culture of denying the existence of Palestinians and their right to live in their own state which includes their rights, is spreading in the Israeli community. So my question is whether Israel will blame the Palestinians again when a new Intifada starts as a response for the Israeli denial of their rights.
