Mother Russia and America the Land of Freedom

Putin and Bush are going home and leaving behind them a series of events that happened lately between the two greatest powers in the world. The question is what will happen after the end of their period as Presidents and who will affect on the policy of the two countries and what will be the destiny of the diplomatic relations in the future.The American support for the rise of the Kosovo new state made things much worse between Russia and America lately. All the last events show that the two powers are fighting to prove that they decide what goes on in the international community. Putin the Russian president gained the right to speak again in the name of the second strongest power in the world after the hard work he did in improving the economy of Russia and also the support he had from the Russian people. Putin’s period as a president will end soon but his effect will continue and the Russian decisions will keep on going through his hands; it was mentioned several times that Putin will be the next Prime Minister and this proves how much he is supported by his party and the Russian people.From the other side, Bush will be leaving the White House without the same popularity Putin had especially because of the Iraqi war and the no real change or improvement in the American side. Indeed Bush left behind him a serious bad economical situation that would affect not only the United States but the entire world. However, the American policy will stay as it was no matter which President will lead America after Bush because it is clear that either they prove that they lead the world, or someone else will do their work.While we look at the behavior of the Russian President, we see that he has a good diplomatic way in transferring his messages without rising up the situation into a worse level. Putin always said that the behavior of Russia will change if its companions wont change their way in dealing with the world matters and also continuing in arming their selves and creating a threaten on the Russian nation. America from the other side keeps on working upon its plans without noticing the Russian statements and threatens. This could result in a new cold war that wont continue and end as it ended once and the reason is that Russia is not the Soviet Union now, so its economy is better, its leader is smarter, and its allies or who can be easily its allies against America are not the same. The world can be divided again into an Eastern half and a Western half if the situation becomes worse between the two leading countries, and here comes the wisdom of the leader that can decide what will happen.
