The Policy of Assassination

Yesterday Mughnyeh the central and most important man in Hezballah the Lebanese organization was assassinated in unknown circumstances. Mughnyeh was responsible of several attacks and assassinations against American and Israeli personalities. In the beginning of his life, he used to be the personal bodyguard of Yasser Arafat in Lebanon and considered himself a member of the seventeenth military force that was led by Arafat. After that Mughnyeh joined the Hezballah forces and started working with them and Iran. This man was smart in planning his attacks and also arranging his security needs until he was assassinated yesterday in a weird way in which the explosions that killed him were planted under his car chair. One should know that this man is considered as one of the worse enemies of the American CIA in whish they offered twenty five million dollars for anyone who would bring any information about him. Israel wanted to assassinate him too because of the attacks he planned against its soldiers and citizens in the world and also on the Lebanese Israeli boarders.Iran, Syria, and Hezballah accused Israel of killing Mughnyeh and said that the war with Israel is long and they will pay the price for assassinating one of their Leaders. This move could be a disaster at this time in the Middle East area. This could restart the clashes between Hezballah and Israel in which Iran and its allies won’t let this event go without answering and proving that they can face such attacks, beside that Mughnyeh was close and important to Nasralah and Hezballah leadership and they will consider his revenge as a personal duty that should be done.It is crystal clear that an assassination of such a level can only be from the preparation of the Israeli and the American intelligence but the question is what is the wisdom of taking the decision to assassinate him now or its only that they got the chance and accomplished a mission they wanted to achieve a long time ago.One other important question is that did Israel study the future react of Hezballah after this event and are they ready to deal with it in the needed way or will they fall as they felt in the second Lebanese war. The reason for these assassination decisions that are taken without any preparation or planning but only depending on the chances is that the diplomatic and analyzing work is separated from the force use work and this causes disasters to the nations that can’t mix between the two things. Such a decision of using force to kill or assassinate could bring back a hard response that would start a violence trip to hell without any chance to stop. Iran and its allies will soon reach the level to face and strike back anyone who will attack it and the result will be a disaster on the whole sides.
